When it comes to operating a legal short-term rental (STR) in downtown Charleston SC, there's a lot to learn. The landscape of STRs on the Charleston peninsula has changed rather dramatically in the past few months. In April 2018, after years of deliberation, the City of Charleston finally passed judgement on STRs and announced new regulations limiting STRs throughout downtown.
